What I would do, I would have some Skype sessions if you can't meet for a while. It is better than nothing.
I am sorry, that would be hard after having him close for so long. I agree skype would be nice. Sending care packages or letters could be something fun for the two of you to do. My daughter loves to get letters in the mail.
Youre Absolutely Right, we said we'd use the PS3 video chats:) He loves it and the letters seem like a great idea, maybe he can draw me pictures! I won't see him until May when he comes to see his dad and then again in Oct for my wedding
Send him little car packages. Use flat rate and send little matchbox cars, coloring books, awesome stickers, pictures of your daily life, etc. That will make him feel a lot closer to you and it won't be awkward when he does come back to visit. (Hugs) Sorry I know this is rough.

My sister just got married on Sat to a Wonderful man that i am happy to call my brother-in-law:) My sister has one son from and previous relationship and her DH has 2 sons from a previous marriage! We live in NJ and they are moving to Florida today. I am actually having a very difficult time with the move, not neccesarilly for my sister or her husband but for my nephew. He is 5 and ive been around since the day he was born! So i feel like im losing my son, do you know of any advice so i don't feel like i have this Hole in my heart?
