I love that color scheme idea, so much you can do with it. And it strikes me as being able to go either regal, ethereal, spring garden, formal....so many options.

Hi there, Weddingbee community. I'm a first timer here. I'm Kristen, 24, recently, okay, VERY recently engaged. Like this past Friday type of engaged! Although I'm excited, I'm trying to plan for a wedding on May 12, 2012 and I am just now realizing all that is involved in planning a wedding. I wanted some opinions on colors. I was thinking a pastel blue (very saturated though) and gold for colors. Do you think blue dresses with gold accents for the gals and black tuxes with either blue or gold vests sounds okay? Any other suggestions to encorporate these colors in the outfits? Thanks!
