Weddingbee boards

Hi girl,

I have been nominated to help the host that is throwing our friends engagement party.  Basically she is super busy running her own company wants to throw them a blow out engagement party. I am going to try my hand at planning weddings but I thought helping her with this (basically me doing it myself) will help with experience and pics for my portfolio and website.

The budget is going to allow me to host a nice engagement party.  I am just trying to think of some ideas to throw around and see if she likes any of them.

I kind of want to do something swanky but not go over the top. 

Did anyone have a really cool engagement party?

Also there will be about 60-70 people there.

How about a casino night with fake money?  Or an Arabian Nights Theme with open tents, flowing fabric, and under each tent/canopy you have a different food station?  Great gatsby night?  Halloween is also great!  Let us know wha tyou decide.
