Weddingbee boards

I am placing the place cards on the table at each guest's spot. I need some inspiration on creating signs that list each guest's name and the table to which he/she is assigned. The wedding is in a hotel ballroom, more on the elegant, but fun side. Tables will be named after places on our college campus but that is the only tie-in to college life. How to create an interesting sign? It needs to be large, but we can have multiple copies so that guests don't have to crowd around one sign to learn their table assignment. Does anyone have pictures that would give me some inspiration? Thanks!
