So we will be having an informal wedding 30 ish people at a speakeasy venue with ceremony and dinner. I don’t have pics of the place yet but will have them by tomorrow. Background music for dinner and appetizers, 2 live acoustic guitar players for the ceremony.
Should wer and where can we fit in a first dance in here without a dance floor? is it possible? I dont want it to look odd if it’s not possible.
Also, i am looking into a dress. Not sure if I want to go long but more like knee or tea length if it’s the right one. Someone in ivory with a slight 1920’s vibe to it – also same idea for my 1 bridesmaid and my 1 maid of honor in navy . I don’t even know where to even start. Any ideas on the dress?
ETA: what about something like this for the bridesmaid and MOH> I don’t want to go full on “flapper dress: but would something with tiers work instead? without shrug.

Sounds beautiful. Check Sue Wong for your dress. They design absolutely gorgeous and high quality 20’s inspired gowns in the range of $3-700 If you sign up for Ideeli or HauteLook, they have them on sale every so often too. If you just have 2 girls, do you care if they’re wearing the same dress? They could probably find something of higher quality for equal or less $$ at a place like Nordstrom than a “bridesmaids” dress – more “wear again-able” too.
As for the dance, maybe ask what others have done? Or if its never been used as a wedding venue before, just take a look at the space and decide – you don’t need a ton of space, and I don’t think anyone would think it looked odd – its your wedding!!! 😀

Oh sorry, didn’t notice you preferred a shorter dress. What about this one?
It’s styled very casually there but it could easily be dressed up with a long strand of pearls, metallic heels, and even a headpiece…
