@KatyElle: Ooo... i like that. I've never had full on bangs though (well not since I was in elementary school with super thick bangs). They seem like they'd be a lot of upkeep.
@KatNYC2011: I used to think so too, but I had bangs for about 4 years and really liked them! It was about 3-5 minutes of upkeep every morning if you blowdry or flat iron your hair, less if you don't. If you don't want to dive in, you can always do long sideswept bangs like Reese Witherspoon has. I think they give hair a nice polished look without much effort.
@KatyElle: I usually don't blow dry or flat iron my hair ever. I'm usually a wash at night, sleep on it wet type of gal.
So something like this might be good?

I like the Nicole Richie haircut, but maybe you could just leave it a little bit longer? I like side-swept bangs like @KatyElle mentioned but I have had them before and it is so hard to keep them straight if your hair has any natural wave to it or you live somewhere humid.
@KatNYC2011: I like that too, like a long layered bob for wavy hair. Reese's hair always looks good I hate her
@kate169: I have had the side swept bang before and it has worked fairly well.
Here's an old picture from 2005:
And up:
@KatNYC2011: Go for the side bangs then lol. I have had them off and on for the past four years and have a love/hate relationship with them. I love how they look on me (I have a round/squarish face) but hate how I have to straighten them and/or blow dry them out with a round brush to get them to lay right!
@KatyElle: I know! If only I had a live in personal stylist. Then maybe my hair could look that good all the time.

So I'm having my first haircut since the wedding and I'm not sure whether to do some big change, or just keep what I have. I always go into the salon wanting a change, but I usually chicken out.
Here's a photo of my current length (from my wedding with my sister/MOH):
I've always loved this style, but I don't think I could go that short:
Any suggestions for me based on my face shape?
