How about the Aquarium of the Pacific or the Reef in Long Beach? The Aquarium has an outdoor view of the Harbor but the ceremony takes place inside in front of a 3-story tank. The Reef has the "Sunset Deck" outside that has a gorgeous view of the Harbor and skyline, then a reception room indoors with an entire wall of windows overlooking the Harbor. The Aquarium can seat up to 450 w/ a dance floor and the Reef can seat 300 w/ a dance floor in the Harborview Ballroom.

Oops, I originally posted this to Central CA instead of Los Angeles and don't know how to move it, but here is the question again for the hive.
Hi, hope all you in the hive can help me. I'm helping a friend's sister do some research for her wedding. She just got engaged and wants to have her ceremony in Los Angeles somewhere that is outdoors and has a beach view but not necessarily on the beach. Any suggestions?
The only place I thought of was the Chart House in Dana Point but it might not be able to accomodate the number of people that she wants. She needs some place that will hold 150-300 people. Thanks for any suggestions!
