@housebee:  I got nothing, lol. I just want to say congrats, and that is a gorgeous dress!

I was 34 weeks or so when I was in my BFFS wedding and we just ordered extra fabric and built a new front panel on a regular BM dress a couple of weeks before the wedding. That dress is nice, so you could still make it work!

I’d go for an A-line shape with an empire waist.  I’ve heard empire waists are the best when you’re preggers.  And congrats!

@housebee:  Have you looked at twobirds? That’s the dress that can be worn 15 different ways, and it is a jersey material that would stretch depending on your size – so alterations wouldn’t be a worry. Initially I thought they would be too casual because of the fabric, but they aren’t at all!

@housebee:  I know what you mean! My boobs were really sore in the beginning, but that pain went away fairly early on for me. Hopefully your pain won’t stick around too long!

Also, I wanted to add that I know how it feels to find yourself in an unexpected pregnancy! It’s a rollercoaster of emotions sometimes.

Find something with a high-waist and then flowy.  I tried on a BM dress at 21 weeks (it had a higher waist) and my regular size fit (just a little tight) so I think something with a high waist that is a size up would be good.  Maybe 2 with twins.  Not sure how many weeks you will be.  It takes until 20 weeks for the uterus to get to the belly button, but with twins you’ll be bigger.

It looked like this, but I’d go with something with an even higher waist:
