@bellachic: Love your reception venue!!! How about these color combinations???

Since you mentioned black and pink. I think it would look great because the room is pink. I do think pink and gray will look nice as well. It's a timeless and elegant combination.

However, I love the orange as well. It's possibly going to the main color for my wedding. Here are some ways you can incorporate the orange and pink (since you like bold colors).

My vote goes for the gray and pink...I think it would look awesome! Good luck!

@bellachic: You could add some lime to the orange and pink, that would look so cool and really go pop.
I think the pink walls are light enough that you can ignore them and use whatever colors you choose.

Here's some inspiration boards with orange:

Hope that gives you some inpiration!
I am doing citrus colors for our wedding: keylime green, sunbeam yellow, and tangerine orange. I was concerned about the color scheme of our reception venue, but if your venue is like a majority of venues, once the lights are dimmed for the reception the venue decor is very neutral. I say go bright for sure!!
Thanks everyone for your feedback and great inspiration boards!! I think I am 99% set on grey and orange with yellow and green as accent colors. I'll post inspiration boards soon.

Hi all,I always though that when i got married my main colors would be orange/pink or orange with hints of green and yellow...basically orange as the base. We are getting married in August of next year and recently reserved a venue. Problem is the venue has me stumped about what colors to choose. I am not sure if orange as a base will work anymore. Someone suggested black with pink. I personally love bright colors and although our ceremony and reception will be in the evening (6 pm start), I still wanted to incorporate something bright for the evening. I really am not a fan of black linen so not sure how the black and pink would work. I'm thinking maybe I may have to go with grey-based combos like grey and pink - again, not sure how grey/silver will work with the venue. I would really appreciate any suggestions!! Basically is there anyway to keep with a bright theme without clashing with the pink walls or moving over to black color combo?
