    Hey,

I am going to do a crystal tree for my centerpeices Sorta like this...

Need suggestions for where to buy crystals for centerpieces : wedding crystal centerpiece centerpieces diy tree nature theme Manzanita Tree Centerpiece 235w

I was thinking more of using prisms and fishingline. Maybe the strands of crystals like the picture but I'm on the fence about that. Anyway, I have 10 tables, I want at least 6 crystals per table so that means I need at least 60 but up to 100. I want to buy these in bulk somewhere. I'm ok with them being made out of glass instead. I'm just not sure where to get them cheaply. Does anyone have recommendations?

I bought a bunch of crystals at shopwildthing.com. They came quite fast and was pretty much everything I wanted. I'm not sure if I'll actually use them because I ended up with birch branches. Also don't forget craiglist. Another option you might want to think about is buying beaded curtains and then cut/pull them apart to get the short strings look. It'd be more budget friendly.

Try your local discount or dollar store; I just saw these awesome "icicles" at the Dollar Tree this weekend that come in packs of two...they looked like dangling rock candy. I'm definitely going to go back and get some to hang from our venue's chandeliers. Also, chandelier lamps that have dangling crystals on them must have been big years ago because I saw many of them at thrift, antique and flea markets. Another idea is discount or clearance jewelry - I've found some stuff that way too.
