The guys are going to pick out their tuxes tomorrow!
I’m not entirely sure what style I prefer… I THINK I like them to have the girls’ dress color on somehow…
Bridesmaid Dress (in APPLE)
It’s a FALL wedding in the MORNING!
So, here are the tux styles I’m looking at (next to bm dress). HELP!

2 and 3 are bit too matchy prom style to me. I think 1 or 4 are your best options.

If it matters, I have been saying I wanted grey for forever, but now I’m questioning it lol

I really like 2 & 3. I don’t think it’s too matchy. I really like the black with the apple color.

Do not match to the bridesmaids. It turns grown men into accessories.

Use a vest that matches the suit (black or grey) and a tie with a red accent on it (like a red stripe) to avoid that prom-y look but still be coherent.

@inky_1: I’d say grey suit with GREY vest, but red long tie. I’m not a fan of the matchy-matchy prom vest color. But I do love the grey suit with the pop of color tie! So I didn’t vote.

Grey or black suit with matching grey or black vest, if FI wants a vest.
Matching vests look like prom night.
Add a striped or paisley tie with the red in it.

@inky_1: What time are the ceremony and reception?

Personally? #1 is my answer by a long shot. I also really like what PP suggested of swapping out the red vest for the matching gray vest and leaving only a red tie. (But… I’m baised, as that’s what I did 🙂 )

@inky_1: I voted 1 as well…love the grey! Also, what is the brand of the BM dresses?? I love them! We just chose red as our color, and I’m looking for something that color!

Since you’re not doing formal tuxes, why not go fun and do the grey (without that burgundy). Don’t do #4, IMO a black notch lapel tux is a waste of a tux.

I voted for 1.
2 and 3 are too matchy matchy. 4 looks too formal for your setting and time of wedding.
I do love your dress and BM dresses!

#1 but get a vest to match the tux, IMO.
