cls9q:  my husband has White Tungsten carbide. He loves it. It is very scratch resistant. Though cannot be sized. As for your band, can you get a simple pave band to match your E-ring?

Wedding band shopping is fun!!

DH and I got our rings from the same place. Mine was $600+ and DH was $400+. We both got white gold.

Here’s a close up of mine.

My hubby has a tungsten carbide band. He works in the coal mines and wears his ring while working. It’s been almost a year and I swear his ring doesn’t have a scratch and looks new. I’ll post a pic of his in a few. Mine is 18k white gold bought from a seller on etsy.

I also wanted to add that when I looking at tungsten bands for him I was told to always make sure it is called “tungsten carbide ” and not just “tungsten”.  it could mean that it’s mixed with other metals.

Tungsten carbide is roughly 10x harder than 18k gold and it’s very hard to scratch.  I’ve been married for 2 1/2 years and my husband’s ring is still in great shape.  Found his on etsy for less than $100.

cls9q:  it’s a single prong eternity band.  I have also seen them called floating eternity bands.
