@lindythomps:  I’ve posted this idk how many times, but I dont mind sharing again! I did the Ideal Protein plan with alternative products (protein bars from walmart). I lost 70lb in 6 months. Its strict, but thats what works best for me. Rigid guidelines & no venturing off at all. Its tough, but the weight falls off! I’m 5’5″ as well, started this plan at 219. Got to 149 (not gonna lie, Thanksgiving has me at 157, but I’m working out now & know I’ll get back down, or just tone from here). I used Weight Watchers about 5 years ago (can’t believe it’s been that long!) and lost 23lbs in 6 months (and that was with a 5lb gain over Christmas…oops). Taught me a lot about healthy eating and portion sizes. WW has it’s flaws of course but it definitely puts you on track and hopefully points you to eat even better. I don’t follow it anymore and I probably put on 5-7lbs after, but I maintain that weight. I started at 148 and went to 125. The first picture is a couple of months before I started WW and the other pic was taken around 125lbs.

I had a breast reduction around 155 pounds….the the weight started melting away. I guess I’ll blame divorce on my weighloss.  First picture was about 5-6 months after my 2nd child was born.  second was about a year after my breast reduction.  details under the pictures…
