with more questions..
Our venue has three different meal options to choose from.
The one I’ve chosen will be
– classic caesar salad (which i’m not too crazy about)
– sauteed coconut grouper OR new york strip
-coffee and tea blah blah
As a wedding guest would you rather have TWO appetizers (the casear salad, maybe, and then a second appetizer idk maybe crab cakes) and only TWO entree options (fish and meat) or only ONE appetizer and THREE entree options (fish, chicken and meat)
*note, we will be serving about 4-6 different hot hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour. which will estimate 5 pieces per person.

Two Apps and two entrees. The grouper sounds delish!

@nemoandthebrain: I like the 2+2 as well. I feel like it gives more choices if I don’t want Caesar salad (which I love anyway).

I think 2 entree choices is plenty! Do your entrees come with sides or bread? It sounds like plenty of food. And it sounds like you have enough hors d’ouevrs to keep people full and happy.
We are doing a similar style, giving our guests 2 entree choices, each comes with a potato, vegetable, and bread. They also will be getting a summer salad when they sit for dinner. We have 4 passed hors d’ouevrs during cocktail hour.
Your guests are sure to enjoy all the delciious food you are having, it’s making me hungry. 🙂

whenever I go to a wedding, I order chicken so I would be a little put off that it wasn’t offered. I don’t eat red meat and am not crazy about fish. i feel like chicken and beef are the two staple options
