we are “hiring” if you will someone to help the day of the wedding. it is someone FH works with. Her only responsibilities will be putting food in the oven and taking it out and placing the food on the buffet table when it is time. She will also light all the candles on the table before people start arriving at the reception.
we will need her for probably 3 hours max
what should we pay her?

I would either pay her or get her a nice gift

we are going to pay her but we dont know what we should pay

AH I did not see that – sorry!! I want to say $100 (almost $30 an hour basically) but it just doesn’t seem like very much. You could always bring up a number to her and see what she says and then go from there

I’d say something like $15/hr but that seems so small when it’s just 3 hours (or less). Maybe $100? But then that seems like a lot to do simple things. Gosh, that’s a good question, sorry I’m not very decisive here!

i would just give her $100

I would say $100 would be fine as well. I was referred to someone who helps with anything you need on the big day and she charged $50/hour.
