Cecilia had her photo shoot the other day. We want to go with a photo package that has 5 photos on CD and one enlarged photo on canvas. We've narrowed it down to 8, but we can't decide from there how to get it down to the 5. And we can't decide which one of just her to enlarge for the canvas large photo. Can I get some hive help?! :)
Oh man, the resolution is stinky. I could post them individually, but hopefully you can see well enough with this.

numbering the photos from left to right, top to bottom....i like 2, 5, 6, 7, 8... :-) awesome!! :-)

Awesome, thanks! I would say #2,4,5,8 are definite must-haves. I'd probably pick 6 or 7 for the 5th. :)
Oh and btw, #2 is my fav. She looks like such a little PERSON there. Like she will have that exact pose at 1, 8, 16... she could be holding a cell phone and painting her nails. Super cute.

using bigger versions, top=1, bottom=8....
i still love 2 for the canvas...second vote for the canvas now is the crib pic (#7)
assuming the canvas pick is excluded from the 5 on the cd, my vote is 4,5,6,7,8
if the canvas includes the pic for the canvas, my vote is 2,4,5,7,8

Oh man I should have posted a poll for the canvas one. We were thinking standing in the hallway, but now I'm thinking either the one in the grass or #2. Stink! I can't figure it out... and thanks for the compliments by the way :)
And BTW, I'm not totally sure whether the 5 include the canvas or not. Good question!

My #1 favourite and the one that I think you should blow up is #2 it is so freakin' adorable! My runner up for the blow-up is 4!

@Future Mrs. Martin: Can you specify which numbering system you were using: grid or list? Believe me I'm keeping careful track of what you all are saying :D!
In the order of your second post: 2, 4, 5, 7, 8. My favorite is 2!

Great pics- she is so cute! The ones I like best (order based on bigger pictures): 2,4,5,6, and 8. For the canvas, I'm between 2 and 8.
More importantly, they're all good, and you can't make a wrong decision.
With my order based on the bigger pictures I definitely think #2 is my pick for the canvas but as far as choosing five for the disc I'd say 1, 2, 5, 6, 8. Definitely a hard choice Cecilia is beautiful!

I can see the dilemma here. They are all adorable. My daughter is a photographer and I often assist her with lighting. I am always interested to see what pictures the clients pick as their favorites vs what pictures we pick as our favorites.
My advice as a mom is to pick the ones that speak to you. There is always a certain expression or mannerism that is uniquely your child and something that may not mean anything to others but will make you smile everytime you see it.

Based on the grid, left to right, I love 3-8. Out of the individual pictures, I like #8 the most. I just think that it shows more personality since she's not looking at the camera.
what a little munchkin! so, so cute. i'd go with 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 for the CD (numbers corresponding to the order you posted the large photo, from top to bottom). i think i'd go with #2 for the canvas...she has such a mischievous look on her face, that picture is really to die for. this is definitely a post to avoid for anyone with baby fever!
Oh man, how can you possibly choose?! I've never met her and I am captivated by how adorable she is, I can only imagine how you must feel! I absolutely love the two on the bed, and the one in the hallway. And you have to go with the one with each of you. So I guess that's what my 5 would be if it were up to me! Although, maybe I would want one of the grass ones, so I guess I would pick 2,4,5,6 & 8.(In order from first to last of the big ones you posted).
I would do #2 or the hallway one for the canvas. Probably #2, I absolutely love that one.

Okay so from the original post, I vote #2, and the whole bottom row for on the CD, and the one with her in the grass looking up for the blow up.
DG, she is adorable! I vote for #2 and #8 (in the list). However, ANY of them will make beautiful photos!
Can I just say that you have the most adorable baby ever!? No wonder you're having a tough time deciding! I guess if I had to pick a favorite though, it would be the ones in the grass.
I don't have kids, so I may be out to lunch on my picks, but I could kind of do without #1 (looks like a nappy change) and I think #6 (assisted walking, which might totally be a moment you want to capture!) and maybe #7 (in the crib with somebody's floating arm). They're all adorable, but those are my least favourites, composition-wise.
For the canvas I like #3, I think. Did you mention how large the canvass is going to be? That might play a role for me. Like, if it's going to be HUGE, that might be a lot of baby head, but if it's going to be like 11x14 it would be perfect.
I love the two where she is outside (the lighting is great) and the one where she is in the crib.
OMG, how are you really supposed to narrow it down?! You little girl is beyond adorable!
For sure on the CD I think you need the ones with you and Mr. DG, so #s 5 & 8. I'd probably also get 2,4,6. And for the canvas, gosh it's a tough choice, but I think #2 because of the lighting and because I love the look on her little face. :)
P.S. I went in order of your second post where the photos are in a list...
I think #3 has better "forever" potential. When I was 16 I would not have been stoked if my parents had a large picture of me not entirely clothed up on their wall.

@Monster of the Bride: Great advice! The most Cecilia expression is #6, but the composition doesn't seem to be as suitable as others for the 11x14.
Ok, so I think it's between #2 and #4 (of the big pictures) for the 11x14. I like the idea of outdoors, but I love #2... but do you think #2 will be bad when she's older?
