Michelle Lawson, because she knows how to properly expose white to show detail.  I just cannot stand blown out whites – and Robert Rios has them in abundance.  Some people like blown out whites, but I am not one of them.

Can’t comment on other photographers in S FL as I am in the northeast.

I agree that photography is a VERY important vendor.

I don’t like his blown whites but her oddly cropped limbs are annoying. She cuts feet, hands, arms etc carelessly. I’d say neither. He can always pull his highlights back, she can’t re attach limbs

@dressedinlovexo:   He is overexposing his images, perhaps at the time of capture, perhaps in post processing as a “style” thing – in any case if you have detail on your wedding dress, you won’t see it in the photos.  😉

And yes, Michelle does crop oddly – chopping off heads etc with abandon.  It is possible you could address that issue with her – let her know you like to see whole bodies or closer close ups….  On the whole I still prefer Michelle.   The people in her shots look relaxed and very natural.  I’d guess she is pretty unobtrusive.

I prefer the second photog much better. The first one all black and white turned my off. The second’s also seem crisper and just richer. IDK much about photography though…

I would say go with the one you like. Photography is SO important and is what you will remember the day by for years to come. Go with the one YOU want.

@Skittles131:   The first seven images are B & W – if you scroll down a bit further you will see color shots.  🙂

@dressedinlovexo:   Sorry!  I thought it was clear in my earlier post –  of the two I prefer Michelle Lawson.   She understands exposure theory and her subjects look relaxed and natural.  Her cropping is odd but I think that can be addressed if it bothers you.  I’m a photographer (not wedding) and I am “allergic” to blown out whites.  lol

@dressedinlovexo:   No worries!!  I’m happy to offer my opinion.  I hope you will find a photographer that YOU are pleased with, and can work well with.

Michelle, by far. The exposures just look “off” in Robert’s portfolio.
