I purchased small silver frames as favors, and have decided to use them as my escort cards. Ifeel like they are boring and everyone does frames, but It’s too late to do something else now.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make these frames a little more unique. Right now I am putting the person’s name and table number inside the frame. There is not room to write anything else. I have a black and white theme with a pale pink accent color. Maybe I could do something on the table to make these frames stand out. I have ordered a large vase of peonies to place on the escort table with the frames. Now I am second guessing myself! After reading all the creative ideas on here I thought someone could help me out! Thanks

My first thought was to make a game out of them — guests could open up the back to find a question or clue about you and your fiance, and they have to solve it (or something like that). It doesn’t change the apperance of them, but it certainly makes them interactive, and more fun than traditional escort card frames!

Those favors really do sound lovely 🙂 I think it will be beautiful and you shouldn’t 2nd guess yourself! I really wanted frames for my cards, but we just didn’t really have the money. I don’t think you want the frames to stand out because that would take away from your beautiful centerpieces that I’m assuming you paid quite a pretty penny for! You can maybe slip a picture in there behind the place card, but just be sure to make an announcement about that incase people don’t bother to check. You can also try going to a craft store and buying little rhinestones to put around the frames, but depending how many you have, that could be huge daunting task and still doesn’t change them a whole lot. If you think that isn’t enough of a favor, throw a $1 scratch card at their place setting for good measure. I think it is hands down the very best wedding favor. Most people include some sort of saying with it, like "lucky in love." I’m going to put mine in envelopes that match my colors scheme (ivory, black, and light pink :p). Im sure what you are doing will be beautiful!
