If your wedding budget is tight and these are free, then I woul def use these and spend money on other things.  These don’t look tacky or cheesy and no one will know they were free unless you make them privy to that info.  They look simple and classy.  Now, with that being said, if they aren’t really your style, or you don’t feel like they fit your theme or personailty, then that’s a whole nother matter.  In general, I think they are nice and was a very sweet and classy gester from the hosting hotel!

Spending the money on nice wedding invites that are you, in hy oh so very humble opinion (especially when you love invitations!) is worth it. The hotel invites are cute, but are they smbolic of your wedding, style or color scheme? if so, then go for it. If not, it is SO easy to save a few hundres bucks elsewhere.

    They’re free!

I’m so cheap, I’d definitely go for it, haha. But to be fair, I’m not a sentimental person in the least. I don’t think I’ll be looking back on reminscing on my invitations in 5 years to come and thinking about their aesthetic appeal.

Also, like your friend said- I don’t care about other people’s invitations. Date, time, and location are there? Awesome. The day after the wedding it’s going in my garbage can. I do prefer it with the little gold ribbon though!

I think they are great but would move the ribbon down if you use it, perhaps right above or right below the “Our wedding”.  As it is it is too close to the top of the paper and very off balance.  But as the others above have said if it doesn’t suit you then get something else, there are plenty of DIY cheap options available now a days.  Good luck.

If it didn’t say “Our Wedding” on the front, I’d be more inclined to say use them.  But, I’m not a fan.  It really meant a lot to me when people commented on our invitations because I worked hard on them.  These are just kind of “meh” to me.

Ehhhhh I dont care for them. To me the wedding invitation was important as it represented the first piece to our ceremony and wedding day. I wanted to give a good first impression. For some reason the words “our wedding” screams commercial and mass produced and doesn’t seem intimate and personal. The bow looks a little like “grandma knitting needles”.

If I got them for free, I’d consider using them.

I wouldn’t use them only because there is the hotel information on the back.

@momolove:  Those second ones are beautiful! Where are those from?
