I really like it. I think if you added a more "WOW" sash around the waist, it would look ever better. If it's a great deal, I say GET IT!
You want to get a dress that you LOVE! So for that reason, I say keep shopping :)
I voted "You can do better". It's not that the dress looks bad on you, it's just that you look like you're in good shape and that dress doesn't really show it off. :)
I think that dress is gorgeous! But to be honest, if you aren't totally in love with it and feel like you are going to have to do a lot of alterations and changes to get it to where you like it, I would say keep looking. There are tons of wedding dress options out there including affordable ones. In the beginning of my wedding dress shopping experience I bought a dress that I liked, not loved, because it was affordable and six weeks out from the wedding I decided I would regret it forever getting married in it, and ended up buying a second dress. If you have time left, I would suggest you keep looking. Find something you really love. And if you don't, just leave this dress idea on the back burner.
Good luck!
I like it. I'd sweetheart the neckline if you can, add a sash at the waist, and maybe take out some of the bulk at the hips and bring it in to a more modified A line then crinoline at the bottom to make more of a statement. You want to show off your figure, not hide it. From what I can tell you look like you have a great figure.
If those types of alterations are possible and affordable you could have a gorgeous and unique dress!
I voted "you can do better" not because I don't like it or think it looks great on you, but because you should LOVE your dress and you already said that you don't. As someone who bought a dress she liked but didn't love and then had major dress regret, I think loving the dress is the number one prerequisite to purchasing. Keep looking, that dress does look great on you but you should get something that you absolutely adore.
First of all, I think you should love your dress!! I do think that this dress does have that potential with alterations that PP mentioned....sweetheart neckline, sash, etc. I also think that it looks like the dress is a little too big and that it would show off your figure better if it was taken in a little. It's a gorgeous dress overall!
I think the dress is BEAUTIFUL on you... but if you dont LOVE IT, then you can do better.
I think it looks great on you! I agree with your idea and PP's ideas of adding some bling and maybe change the neckline just to wow it up a bit.
It's a pretty dress but go for a dress that you LOVE! You might have dress regret later on with a dress you just liked.
It's a beautiful dress! I agree with PP's about a most "wow" sash - that'd take it up a notch for sure! BUT I also think you should keep looking in case you DO find something that you love.... would this still be available if you didn't purchase it now? Looks like a DB store which usually has endless supplies :)
I voted "keep looking" because you said you don't love it. I've read too many times about girls buying dresses they didn't love, and then buying a second dress later. So, save yourself the dissapointment of buying a dress you don't love & keep looking!
I really really do love it it has such a soft romantic feel to it. I think you could add a blingy sash and once you merchandise it up with necklace, earrings etc you'll be perfect. You shouldn't second guess it as it's perfect.
It just seems kind of bland. Sure you can try to make it better, but why not look for a better starting point to make sure you get the drress you want?
I voted go for it because I think this dress being offered at a great deal has a lot of potential because it it is pretty much a plain ball gown. As you and other said, you can add your own touches to it with a nice sash, maybe turn the neckline into a sweetheart for a softer look.
So only if alltogether after alterations and add-ons it is still cheaper to get this dress than to buy one that has everything you like -go for it.
Good luck!
I'm with the other posters on this one, if you don't love it, don't buy it. And chances are even though it has a great price now, I'm sure the cost of alterations will be much more if you wanted to make it your own.
I think you need a dress that shows off your figure much more and doesn't shorten your body.
I also voted "You can do better" because you don't love it. Furthermore, here is my hesitance against the dress: I LOVE the skirt and how flowy it is, but the top isn't a shoe in for me. It's not even the neckline (I would definitely alter it to sweetheart), but I can't quite explain what it is, somehow it looks off...
Honestly, I think it is amazing!! And it looks amazing on you. But thats just me, and not you. You should L.O.V.E it.
I actually think it looks really great. Dresses don't have to be "figure hugging" to look good. I think it looks romantic. I think a large flower sash and removal of the sparkly thing would look SO cute on this, seriously. But, if you aren't happy with it, then don't buy it.

Be honest!! How does this one look? I like it a lot (don't love it) but it's very affordable, so I can get some alterations done and personalize it. Should I go for it? If not, why? THANKS!!
