David’s Bridal has a sort of unique jewel tone-looking green available that has peaked my interest, but I’m looking for others’ opinions on it!
What do you think about this color? ALSO What color/s would go with it?
Any brides out there use / using Jade from David’s Bridal? AND have you found any invitations to match? I can’t find anywhere (other than DB) that offers the green jewel tone rather than a turquoise color.

I voted yes as you like it and that’s all that matters. Perhaps raspberry and champagne would all go together – it’s what first came into my head. Plus, I think as you’re getting married in June something Summery like raspberry and champagne would look nice for that time of year.

I voted yes because I am using the same color for my September wedding. We are mixing it with amethyst jewelry (dark purple) I love the jewel tones, so there maybe some small splashes of dark hot pink.
Also david’s bridal has invitations to match. You can search for jade and it will show you what they have. The have a nice one that has a jade ribbon and you can order free samples.

@CSuttles:Thanks for the advice! I am between pairing it with pink or purple flowers. I had originally considered yellow, but that’s Packers colors and I’m from Chicago, so it’s kind of sacrelige (sp)

Its super beautiful in person! I think a really pretty plum purple and silver/black would look great along side of the Jade, making Jade your POP color!

I am using this color. I originally wanted to do fern, but DB version of fern is really brown. We are only doing jade, black and white though, so no other 2nd color suggestions for you. I liked the PP idea of a dark purple. The color looks lovely on satin dresses. I am making my own stationery. It’s been hard to match on template wedding websites though, so I’m not sure it’s a really popular color if you’re looking for pre-made stationery. The longer I look at my fabric swatch, the more I’m glad I switched to it. If you’re going for a fall/winter green shade, it really is quite lovely. But, yes, I think you’ll have a hard time matching it.

I really like the color. If I were a bridesmaid, I feel like I could rewear the dress again very easily.

I am also using this colour for my BM’s. It is gorgeous on all of their skin tones. I am mostly doing it as an accent colour and also doing the rest of the wedding in black and white. The flowers will all be ivory with some greenery throughout and my invitations will be black and white with small accents of a similar colour. I’m not so sure about other colours. I wanted to stay away from them since the jade is already stands out so much..you don’t want TOO much colour. That’s just my opinion though.
Don’t be afraid of the colour! It is very pretty..and different, which I love!!

I like it a lot better in person. 🙂 As far as colors I think you can kind of go two ways. You can let that be your “main” eyecatching color and do soft greys, whites, black, champagne. OR you can have two eye-popping colors like suggested with that raspberry/hot pink looking color I saw posted above. I also like it with purple. Good choice! 🙂
