@MrsPanda99:  I don’t have any venue suggestions but I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I wish you and your family the best.

@MrsPanda99:  so sorry or hear about your dad :(.

What about the Prince Edward County area? Beautiwhip light-sand beaches, wineries etc..

i’m so sorry to hear about your dad. i’ll be thinking of you all and hoping for a speedy recovery.

what about tobermory? i haven’t been myself but it looks SO BEAUTIFUL and everyone raves about it. it’s like the caribbean in ontario!

i also really love the ottawa region… i think it would be beautiful to go somewhere there for an elopement.

would you go to muskoka or is that too far? there is nothing better than ontario cottage country in the summer.

Just some things to think about… definitely look up Tobermory if you haven’t been. the images are STUNNING.

@MrsPanda99:  So sorry to hear about your dad – best wishes for a speedy recovery.

There are lots of small towns with super cute churches, or you could get a photo permit and have a small event in one of the many parks around.  Check out the Toronto parks – I know the Allen gardens can be rented, as can the music garden (it’s really just a permit to allow you to have a small event, it wouldn’t really be ‘yours’ for the time you’re there).

I would probably just hire an officiant and go somewhere with a photo permit and do it that way – but that’s just me 🙂

EDIT: there is also a beautiful little Church on Stoney Lake in the Kawartha’s – St. Peters, it’s non-denominational Christian lots of people get married there and it’s GORGEOUS.  It’s about an hour and a half from downtown Toronto.

i’m so sorry about your father’s illness.

niagara falls may be cliche, but niagara on the lake is gorgeous. or even something in wine country?

@MrsPanda99:  i hope you figure something out! i found this via google: http://www.elopeniagara.com/

and i mean, if you wanted to cross the border, you could do something in new york. i’m in buffalo now, and while i hate it here (personal reasons, nothing to do with the actual city), i know that there are some beautiful places out here for eloping or small weddings.

@MrsPanda99:  Hey I’m a bit late to this thread, but I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. I can’t even imagine. My FI is from the Niagara area, so that’s most of what I know in Ontario. But I was also going to suggest Niagara-on-the-lake, as someone else said. It’s a lovely little place.
