I really love your original emerald cut! Its very classic and gorgeous!! Not sure I would pair the round channel band with it though, just my taste 🙂 If you love it, definately get it, I dont think it will look bad at all!! This would be another option if youre interested. It combines both an emerald cut and round!

misschickpea I love the band you chose for her original setting! I am a big fan of baguettes and because they are like mini emerald cuts, pairing it with an emerald cut will look gorgeous!

I love you engagement ring and prefer the setting you have over the Tacori posted. But if you like the thin pave another option might be to get two thin pave bands to go on each side of your ering.

I am usually not a big Tacori fan, because I find their settings too delicate for the price (design-wise, not quality), however I really like the one you posted.  There is a thread somewhere where everyone posted their emerald cut rings…let me see if I can find it.  It may give you other ideas.

@MrsT2009:  mine is a princess solitaire but I am now lookin into putting it in the halo setting on it because I have loved loved loved love the 1920-1930s deco looks since I was a little girl…

    here is my thread http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/ring-porn-my-first-attempt

I have always loved emerald cuts but around here when we were purchasing I couldnt find a good quality stone in a setting that I loved so I went with a princess

I love emerald cuts as solitaires or 3 stones with step cut sidestones.  I just think step cuts look great on plain bands to emphasize the stone’s clean lines.

If you like channel set, have you tried a princess channel set?  I like the row of uninterrupted sparkle they have plus they’re square so you’re sticking with the clean lines look.

If you really do want a ring reset, if the current style isn’t cutting it for you, have you seen mshoagie’s set?  It’s spectacular.

My vote is for the Tacori setting… so unique and pretty!  However, your ring is gorgeous in the current setting as well.  I agree with @abirdword that a princess cut channel set band may give you a more angular look that matches the style of your e-ring.
