Hey Hive! Just like most of you I have my DREAM wedding thought up in my head. We are having a smallish, semi-casual, vintage-glam wedding in April on the roof of a hotel in Vegas (we are locals). In a perfect world I would love to have an arch during the ceremony with a chandelier hanging from it. The only arches the rental places here carry that can support the weight of an arch are VERY large gardeny lattice looking arches and that really isn't the look I'm trying to achieve, they rent for about $200 plus I have to figure a way to get it on to the roof of the 17th floor of the hotel (and only have 2 hours to set up before the ceremony begins). I have an aquantance that had EXACTLY what I want only much larger so I asked my sisters boyfriend who works with wood and he said a smaller simplified version would run e close to $500 in supplies! I am hoping some of you will have creative ideas, I would still really love to use a chandelier but is there anything I could use instead of an arch? I figured this would be the place to go to start the brainstorming (because you are all much more creative then me). Please and Thank you!
