I am having a vintage type wedding in the fall. Colors are yellow and brown. The venue is a historic home from 1833. I really LOVE this dress, but am scared of ordering something online. However, they do have a return policy. I have had mixed reviews. Please keep in mind I am a size 18 (XL). I really think this would flatter my figure. Thoughts?

There is a bee poster on this board who had that dress! (belleinga perhaps?) I remember liking her picture in it, so I am sure if you think it would flatter your figure, it is a great looking dress!

I think it was bluespurrs (sp?) who had a dress like that.

How do I find her picture? I would love to see it on someone else besides a model! 🙂

I am not entirely sure it is the dress bluespurrs wore, but here is a link to her profile. You could send her a message and ask her about it. 🙂

Good memory, rachel. Amanda, if you go to her profile, you can see in the threads she started, she posted wedding pictures with her dress. I think it was a reproduction, though. Messaging her is also a good idea.

are there any bridal shops that have dresses similar that you could try on? That could really help!
But I think it would look great!!

This is very pretty. I love the sleeves. Is it an empire waist? Sometimes I find (I have an hourglass figure) that an empire waist can add pounds to me because of my large bust. It depends on your body type and what you wish to accentuate.
