I am a bride/aspiring wedding coordinator.

Most of the details and planning will be completed myself.

Looking for a "like-minded" bride who is in/interested in the wedding planning business to swap Day Of Coordinating services with each other.

I will attend a meeting to gather/swap information, be there for the day-before (rehearsal), and work the full day of as D.O.C. in exchange for the same.

Wedding day services also included, not limited:

- Professional Day-of Wedding Coordinator/ DPA will have assistant

- Set-up supervision and overall management of wedding day

- Distribute personal items and flowers to wedding party

- Prepare bridal room/suite

- Assist bride and groom (gathering personal items)

- Set up personal items for wedding cerempny and reception

- Greet guests and assist with guest seating

- Direct processional activities

- Cue musicians/dj

- Cue wedding party

- Direct recption activities, such as; grand entrance, toasts, first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dance, cake cutting, banquet and garter toss

- Coordinate transportation of gifts

- Distribute final payments and gratuities to vendors (provided by client)

- Organize Departure

- Direct guests to departure site

- Hand out "toss" items, etc.

Looking for someone highly motivated, responsible, extremely detail-oriented, with excellent management skills.

I would have LOVED to do this!!! BUT my wedding is September 7th!!! I already have a DOC that comes with my venue, but I would have been more than willing to do DOC for you, as I am starting a wedding planning business and need to build my portfolio. Good luck & I hope you find someone!

@alicialoveschase: I know, it's pretty difficult finidng someone who isn't getting married around the same time. I've already got several replies, but they were for dates in September as well... Thanks and I wish you the best of luck :)
