We are getting married at the Orting Manor and they are able to accomodate probably up to 250 people and you provide your own catering.
Did you check Seattle Bride or Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom? One of those (or maybe both) has a section of venues in the area (all of Western WA if I remember correctly) and it lists capacity, catering options, etc. It might be an easy way to narrow things down if you're still looking.
@Miss Root: I agree. One or both of the magazines have a "Venue List" in the back, which lists all the venues, their capacity, their starting price point and information about catering. Just go to a B&N and sit there with your notebook and jot down ones to look up if you don't want to buy it.

i am a tacoma wa bride and engaged to get married aug 4 2012 and i dont have a venue. we need a place tht has capacity of 230+ and can allow own catering plz let me know plz i need help i am stressing !
