Well I’m no expert but it depends on HCG concentration in your pee. When you first wake up and haven’t peed in a while, it’s higher than if you drank water and peed often. I say wait until morning and pee again first thing. Good luck!

Maybe they use cheap tests, since they’re doing a blood test too. My office never even tested me lol.

Those are pretty clear positives, but the docs office ones might not be as sensitive. Did they do the bloodwork anyway?

I think they either used a crappy test or your urine was too diluted. I’m sure your bloodwork will show you’re pregnant.

alaska_99705:  Those are strong lines! Doctor’s urine tests have notoriously low sensitivity so I imagine you just don’t have enough HCG in your system to get a positive. I wouldn’t worry about it!

Some docs offices consider <25 to be negative, so make sure you ask the number, don’t just let them tell you yes or no. IMO at this stage, as long as there’s hcg in your blood then you are pregnant and hopefully everything will continue to progress!!

When they called me back with my first results at 15dpo they told me I was pregnant, but the number was low. I said what’s the number, and she said 452! I’m like.. uhhh that is not low!!!! I’m 11w2d now!

alaska_99705:  Those are very clear strong BFPs! My BFP wasn’t as dark as yours, it was faint and I got blood drawn same day and results confirmed the pregnancy. Like pp’s mentioned your urine was most likely diluted or the dr’s test isn’t as sensitive. Keep us posted but I’m sure everything is just fine!

Congrats!  Sometimes the sticks at the doctor’s office are faulty or expired (and errors sometimes happen where they test the wrong pee) which is why you should always follow up with a blood test to be sure.
