Negotiating a discount on a bridal gown or

I am looking for a Rivini dress.  The style is called "Sienna," and I'm looking for it in a larger size.  Anything I can fit into or alter down to my size would be great.  I'm guessing the smallest size I could probably do would be a 16.

Unfortunately, this dress is WAY out of my price range, even with a 10% trunk show discount, but I really really love it.  It's so frustrating--this dress is just leaps and bounds better than anything else I've found so far.  But, alas, it is really a lot more than I want to (or frankly can) spend.

So, does anyone know of any consigners or discounters that carry Rivini?

Has anyone had success in negotiating a discount (not on sample dresses) with a full-service bridal salon?  Any tactics or tips to share?  Does begging work? ;-)

Try encorebridal.com - they do resale of new or gently used Rivini's.  Also google bridal resale and see.  But encore comes highly recommended from bridal bar!

Most bridal shops also have some give in pricing. If you say you can buy it somewhere else for cheaper, but want to buy it there, they generally will match the price. I got mine for 15% off and then they gave me another 10% off all the bridesmaid dresses that we bought there. It can't hurt to ask.
