I always think Poindexter sounds like a nerdy name. It doesn’t really come from anything that I know of but I like it a lot 🙂

My DH loves the name Castiel from Supernatural. With the nickname Cass. We have also talked about many “superhero” names but all their alto egos. Conner, Bruce, Clark, etc.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title was Eggbert. But I think that’s a different kind of nerdy. 🙂

Luke will always be a nerdy name to me.

Mostly because EVERY Luke I ever met while working in childcare was named after Star Wars!
