The nerves are just a lot of excitement and other emotions all rolled into one moment. I promise. You're anxious because its been so long - do you look the same, does he look the same, etc, you cant WAIT to see him, you cant wait to touch, hug, hold, kiss, MARRY him. I felt the same way when my brother came home (minus the kiss and marry part 
) Just try to relax, get some exercise, keep yourself smiling by thinking of happy memories and things you cant wait to do while hes home - hold his hand, smell his smell, etc. The nerves will subside, but they'll come flooding back as you're going to meet him in 3 days. The second you see him they'll turn to pure joy and youll either laugh or cry.
Your feelings are totally normal, its been so long and youre just SO EXCITED! I cant wait to hear how it goes!

He just called he's in NC and his family didn't ask for time off work to come get him, so he's trying to see if he can change his flight to come to MA today....I may see him sooner

Man, if you're anything like me, you're gonna be bouncing up and down and not sleeping or eating until you see him. I already get jittery thinking about the next time I get to see J, and that's 93 days away still!

Ok hive - he will be arriving at 2pm today. My brother is picking him up from the airport so my family will see him before me. How am I going to finish my work day?
I think I'm going to be sick that's how anxious I am. I have not seen him for 9 months; since we got engaged.

Aww how exciting!!! He's going to be ecstatic to see you! Try to keep yourself busy today. When my hands are doing something, it's easier not to let myself get caught up in too many thoughts. Lots of weddingbee until then? That will keep you busy! Good luck and congrats!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you!!!!!!! I remember the incredible feeling as soon as I got the call from my honey saying he was safe in the states (he had been in Iraq). I just cried and cried with relief. I remember how nervous I was when I first saw him. It was 10 months to the day since we had seen eachother. It took about a day or so to get used to be around eachother, but it was FANTASTIC.
So happy about him coming home and youre reunion!
And your "secret" is going to give that man something to remember for life whenever he has to answer a call to duty!

yay!!! you must be bursting!!! i was in a long distance relationship so i know how exciting it is when you get to see them! (i saw my FI about once every 4 months) i can only imagine the added emotion of him being safely out of the war zone!!
I am soooo incredibly excited for you! My fiance is in the military and I dread those times where we won't see each other for many months--but think how great that first hug and kiss will be when you see him :)
OK OK OK....Nerves are out the window now I'm just giddy. I called my brother's phone to see if he found the Mister and to my surprise the Mister answers the phone!!!!!!!! Now I want to dance and scream....HE'S HOME, HE'S HOME!!!!
Anticipation sucks...I just called my brother again and he isn't answering his phone so I don't know if he's trying to surprise me and bring him here to work. AAAAAAAWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

About 15 days ago I reveiled my secret on the boards...well today the Mister is in the states!!! After a little more than nine months apart we'll be reunited in about 36 hours.
I'm one big ball of emotions - I'm excited of course, but I'm really feeling nervous.
Any help?
