So we’re getting our engagement pictures done tomorrow and I’m super nervous. I’m worried it’s going to be awkward and we don’t know what to do. The only professional pictures I’ve done before are graduation ones and when I was in a bridal party. Do any bees out there have any words of wisdom or encouragement? Were you nervous before your engagament pictures?

You don’t won’t have to know what to do, cause they will! They’ll tell you to look up, lean, smooch, and smile. I look forward to your pics, they’ll be great.:)

I’m a portrait photographer 🙂 most people have ni idea how to stand, what to do with their hands, how their neck or stomach can look at certain angles. That’s why you get a pro to tell you what to do. an experiences photographer knows how to make it not awkward and fun so don’t worry about it!

I had a glass of wine to feel more relaxed. Since I’m always naturally tense & super awkward in front of a camera, I knew I needed something to calm my nerves. Also, it happened to rain the day of our pictures so you can imagine how crazy I was already lol. But just try to be as relaxed as you can and enjoy the day with your fiance. Our pictures came out beautifully! They are experts, they will make it as painless and fun as you let them 🙂

My biggest advice is to have fun and not overthink things! Your photographer will instruct you, so don’t worry about that 🙂
