I bought my wedding dress from a Chinese online shop and was incredibly impressed! I tried on Ella Bridal 5500 but the $1700 price tag here in Australia was just too much and I couldn’t justify my mum paying that much for a dress I would wear for 12 hours or less of my life.

So we looked online and found a Chinese website that made a copy of the dress, just without the designer tag. $300 with $2 postage insurance, yes please!

I lost 12kg before our wedding so my dress did become slightly too big and wehave a family friend take it in for me, so three weeks ago today I wore my Chinese copy wedding dress and was told I looked amazing and the dress was a fantastic bargain.

I would suggest it to anyone who wants a cheaper alternative.. But that’s not to say that there isn’t some dodgy places out there where you might not be so lucky.

My advice: know the style is going to suit you. Try on the dress if your copying a designer or try something similar because the style that you like might not be the style that suits your shape.

Good luck with your buy, I hope it’s amazing!

My friend used a oriental knock-off on Ebay for her wedding dress and she looked fantastic! She was very happy with it when she got it πŸ™‚
