Does your furbaby do anything that makes you wonder if s/he is operating with a full deck? My little guy does a variety of weird things:
- He plays with all his toys right on the edge of wherever he is (couch, bed, car seat) and always looks so distraught when the toys fall down. He goes to get them and then drops them again…and again
- He spins in circles like nobody’s business before he lays downs, comes in the house, pees…anything, really
- He goes into a frenzy after he has a bath – he runs all over the house like a maniac, jumping on furniture and rubbing against the floor, people, anything he can find
There are more, but I want to hear some of yours 🙂

My dog goes crazy after a bath too. She also goes nuts when we take out her walking harness because it means that we’re taking her on a walk somewhere. But when we try to put it on her, she wiggles and struggles the whole time and it takes us forever to get her ready. She hasn’t figured out that the quicker she gets the harness on, the quicker she gets her walk.

My dog goes ape shit when she hears/sees a vacuum. She is also obsessed with watermelon. She’ll eat it constantly if she has the chance. And her favorite place to cuddle is underneath my shirt. She’ll nudge my stomach until I pull my shirt up and let her get inside.

When the dog wants to nap he has any where in the whole house but he loves to squish his into a cornor.

One of my cats has a tendency to dig up my socks and drag them all over the house, and my other cat has this funny thing where he will sit on the table next to my desk, meow at me once til I look at him, then insist on getting kisses. Yes, you saw that right, a CAT that loves kisses. He’ll tilt his head downward and lean forward so I can kiss him on his noggin, right between the ears. He loves it!

Lol one of my dogs does the first thing too. Except when he drops his toys he stares at them for a while then looks at me lol. My other dog always wants to cuddle Like shell just go sit on my lap or as close to me as possible. She also greets my husband when he gets home all happy but if he tries to approach her to put her leash on , she pees!

The Senior Terrier is scared of spoons. Like terrified of them!
The Small Terrier is obsessed with mats and also convinced that his soft crate gives him some sort of Cloak of Invisibility. So yesterday he managed to gather up two mats, drag them through the kitchen and hide ’em in the crate. I then discovered he’d also got all sorts of other contraband in there. He was genuinely amazed that I found his little stash though.
Both of them do awesome Mad Dog Circuits through both our sitting rooms and round the coffee table. Usually just when we are trying to watch the 10pm News.

My dogs basically do everything you described plus some of what others described and more! I brought my big dog to the vet one time because I thought he needed some sort of calming pill. He would look at me and his eyes would buldge out of his head and he would run circles around the house about a 100 times. We call them his cooky eyes, we know exactly when hes about to go crazy! Also my dogs do the same thing with thier leashes when we get ready to take them for a walk they are soooo excited to go but they dont sit still for one second for us to put the leash on them!

I am bringing my thread back. There must be other crazy babies out there! 🙂

Our pup does the crazy run-around after a bath too! I wonder if it’s an evolutionary thing; maybe wild dogs run around lots to get themselves dry?!
She also is really weird about playing fetch. You throw the ball, she’ll catch it and gets SO excited and wants to play again. But she won’t let go of the ball. She’ll paw you and nudge the ball against your leg but won’t actually let it go. She runs away instead!
She’s also awesome in that she collects our washing! DH will throw his clothes on the bedroom floor at the end of the day. Pup picks them all up, puts them in a pile and sleeps on them. Ready-made washing pile, courtesy of the dog
