First...you will LOVE LOVE LOVE Vegas!!! :) My friend had a private dinner at Ceasars Palace overlooking the fountain of the Gods. It was nice and secluded but romantic. Margaritaville is a great place for drinks and dancing!! Whatever you do in Vegas you will love!!
Thank you for your reply. I feel much better just by hearing such positives about Las Vegas.
Ceasers Place looks lovely. Getting more excited now. I'm sure there are loads of places that will be fab...just gotta make a choice!
Thanks again!
Hey don't worry! I've never been there either and chose to get married there. I hear no one has a bad time.
@scotinvegas: I think it depends on when in September you get married....
I am a local here in Las Vegas and yes, it is going to be hot....as heck LOL! Sorry doll. Wear sunscreen! I would definitely choose to have the ceremony inside, especially at that time.
Depending on what the feel of the wedding will be...for group eating...I would say Maggianos, Mon Ami Gabi, Bouchon or Del Monico. All of these places have wonderful food, good for groups and good prices. Maggianos and Mon Ami Gabi have great views as well....
For drinks and dancing...Im not sure where to point you. Vegas nightlife is always lively but not really the "wedding suitable". If you are looking for laid back/casual I would recommend any club...except for Tao is super crowded (dont go, its over rated)
All hotels in City Center, except Mandarin have lounges with good music and drinks. Out of all the City Center, I would prob recommend Aria and Cosmo. Again these are more classy casual places. Good luck. Let me know if you need anything else.
Maybe we will run into oneanother, I am planning a bday party on the strip that same day. Congrats!
As the PP said it will be very HOT still in early September so plan accordingly.
As for a dining place there is Le Cirque at the Bellagio that is AMAZING! It is pricier and considered fine dining but well worth it.
For a place to go afterwards the Chandelier Bar in The Cosmopolitan is also incredible. It is a gorgeous atmosphere perfect for celebrating.
I always wanted to get married in Scotland at Eilean Donan Castle. I lived in Creiff for a year, gorgeous country!

Hi Everyone this is my first post. I am very excited about my wedding in September in the Bellagio in Las Vegas. We get married at 3pm on the Balcony (option to choose inside). Firstly will this be a BIG mistake. I never really thhought about the heat...after all I'm from Scotland. Worrying about it being too hot is never an issue!!
I was hoping someone may have been before and might have a suggestion of what to do afterwards. There will be about 20 of us. I know there are private dining rooms in the Bellagio itself, but worry about paying over the odds just becuase it is BEllagio staff advising me.
Secondly most of my party will want to go on to have drinks and then everntually probably somewhere more lively for a dance. Has anyone ever been and know of nice places I could try that wont cause far too much wandering the streets for people.
I will be very grateful for any help you guys can offer. I am starting to panic that it will be chaos!
Cheers
