Welcome to WB - you'll find it such a help - everyone on here is so great! There's a few Aussie bees on here and we just got our own board recently which was really exciting! Some of the abbreviations of things can take a bit to get used to (I still don't know what some of them are!) but we'll get there!

I see you are from Macedon Ranges, I'm from SE Melbourne, (pretty much next door to Chadstone Shopping Centre) but I'd love to move to The Macedon ranges and build my dream home on a big block where my kids can play and I can have a big veggie garden. Its so beautiful up there!

Funny you should mention blocks - we've just got the contracts for ours today! Lots of scary legal stuff to try and decifer! Glad you love the ranges - I do too!

Hi there,
I'm Roux (pronounced 'roo' as in Kangaroo). I'm from Melbourne Australia (hence the 'roo reference) and I will be 21 in March.
I've been a lurker for the last few weeks, and I decided to sign up as my partner has been dropping some major hints. We have been together for over 3 years, (with a 1 year break in there) We have been living together for the last 5 months, and our relationship has been going from strength to strength.
I think my boyfriend is seriously thinking about proposing, he is 23, 24 in October, and I know he wants to be married around 25. He often brings up things like 'when we get married...' and 'when we have kids...'
I can't wait to be his wife, the mother of his children and the love of his life till death do us part.
I'm looking forward to getting to know other Bee's on this site, especially other Aussie Bee's. I love some of the American tradtions I've seen on here, but some are so weird to me. I've never heard of things like inner envelopes, or OOT bags, or Wedding Showers, lol.
