Hello everyone! I decided to finally get a weddingbee account because I really need your help! I can’t decide what length of veil to wear or what kind of jewerly to pair with my gown. I’m a big earring type of girl, but I was wondering if that would take away from the beauty of my dress. Also, I’m leaning towards a chapel/cathedral length veil, but I’m worried about covering up the detail on the back of my dress, plus I don’t know how difficult it is to manuever in such a large veil. Oh, and what do you all think about a headband? Would that be too much? Thanks in advance!!!
So, here is a picture of my dress! Excuse the fact it’s quite big on me. Thankfully, my custom ordered dress is on its way!
And the back…

I think you should go with the cathedral veil, it wont cover up the details of the dress,
think the short veil, just seems ackwards
earrings, depends on how you plan to wear your hair, because of the detail of the dress etc, I would suggest an updo, partial updo…
allowing your dress to stand out, showing the details etc
or no veil, hair swoped to the side, and dangling earrings

I agree with a long veil. You’ll only be wearing it for the service so you will have plenty of time to show off the dress at the reception. I think you can do big earrings OR a sparkly headband, but I wouldn’t do both.

You all are awesome, thanks so much for your help! I am now set on the cathedral veil, and I would be wearing it just for the ceremony. However, I wanted to wear a headband that way when I took it off I would still have something in my hair. I think I will do a half up-down style and stick with the bigger earrings, but no necklace… Keep the advice coming! I need all that I can get! 🙂
