 Welcome!

Navy blue is traditionally thought of as a summer color. Pair it with something brighter and it will be a beautiful wedding. It goes with almost everything- yellow, pink, coral,  bright green etc

To get an idea of possible color palettes go to http://www.theperfectpalette.com

scroll down on the right till you get to navy blue, click on it and you will see all the palettes they have developed using navy blue.

Navy and white, or navy and green or coral would be gorgeous colors for a summer wedding!  I think it will definitely work out for you!

Also, welcome to the Hive!

Can you talk with your FI to see if he has any opinions? I wanted to use my favorite colours (Dark Blue and Silver) but he always loved baby blue so we morphed to include what he liked. (Our wedding is now all shades of blue, with white)

Our wedding actually reflects HIS personality and likes more than mine. You’ll never know until you ask and if you’re like me and didn’t plan your wedding since you were 3… having his opinion will be a good thing ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome and congratulations! I am getting married this summer and my colors are: royal purple, lavender, ivory, and black. They may be darker colors for a summer wedding, but purple is my favorite color! Plus, I am getting married in a town that’s pretty hot during the summer, and if my bridesmaids are sweating it’s probably not going to show as much! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love navy!! ๐Ÿ˜€  I started out with the concept of navy blue and apple green, and that eventually evolved into cobalt blue and apple green, but I still love navy blue!

Here’s the inspiration board I started with:
