Sounds like you and I are in the same boat, sort of. My SO is extremely secretive and tight-lipped about EVERYTHING. He's only given me one hint, and that is that it will be before 2013. Some hint!
It's hard to wait patiently, but the Bee has been a nice distraction. Good luck with your waiting!

Hi. I'm a new bee too and have a similar situation. We finally went and I picked out my ring last weekend after 2 years and living together for over a year. But now it's the waiting game!! And I'm not good at being patient. Lol. He told me not to expect it for my birthday. :( march 5

Sounds like it's that time to start focusing on self-improvement, picking up a new hobby, or just getting on here a couple times a day to see what fellow bees are up to. It definitely helps you to stay positive & (fairly) patient!
In the meantime, you should ask to be placed on the Waiting List. :-)

@jna300: Hi and welcome :-). I myself am in a similar situation to yourself - I have been with my SO for 2 and a half years although mine wants to wait another 2 years before getting engaged! It's an awfie long wait and I'm not sure how well I'll cope. REAAAALLLLY need to distract myself, a bit like you I'm guessing lol

Hi everyone...
I've been reading the boards for a while... But finally mustered up the courage to post. BF and I have been together for 2.5 years now and things are great. I know that we will get engaged this year. He's super secretive about his plans though... All I know is that he's going to do it sometime this year... I can't get anything else out of him!!!
