Meet Starbuck! She’s an approximately 4 1/2 year old white faced blonde sugar glider. Still pretty skittish, but we’re working on it! I bet we become besties in no time!
Anyone else have a glider?
This isn’t the best pic of her… more will follow!

she’s so cute! I like her little hands – what is a sugar glider? I’ve heard of them, but don’t really know what they are, or what they are like for a pet. She looks sweet!

I do! I and my fiance have two little girls: Aiko and Brindy. Aiko because we got her around the time the cherry blossoms bloom and Brindy, named after the hockey player Brind’Amour. Love the name you gave her! (if you can’t find me at work, you can find me at the near by Starbucks lol). They are both under a year. A lot of work but so dang cute!

What a cutie! I’ve never actually seen a sugar glider before.

So cute! I’ve seen sugar gliders before and was always interested in getting one but Fiance and I adopted 2 cats that needed a home instead. Post up some more pics of that cutie!

I wanted a sugar glider soooo bad when I was a little girl and I still want one, but I have a cat and my FH says she would eat it 🙁

@ ejs4y8 – A sugar glider is a small marsupial that glides kind of like a flying squirrel. They live a really long time (15 years is the average) and are super intelligent (most owners equate it to having a toddler). They’re really cute, tons of fun, and a LOT of work!
@GreySquirrel – Aren’t they fun! I’d love to see pics of your little girls! Such cute names! And while I do love me some Starbucks, she’s actually named after Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica. And probably no other female here would admit to watching that LOL!
I just snapped a few pics right now since she’s up.
My cell phone camera kind of sucks, sorry this one is so dark. She’s just hanging out at the back of her reptarium.
Gliders are so messy! I don’t think she’s actually eating any of her oats, she’s just shredding them and throwing them everywhere so she can laugh while I clean them up…
She says thank you to everyone for your compliments! 🙂

Oh wow. I looked them, and I definitely think my kitties would attack one, lol. But she is a CUTIE. She looks like a handful though =]

So cute! I was thinking I wanted one until I read further down in the post that they are messy! Too much for me to deal with, even though they look so adorable!
