I’m looking to join a fitness/weight loss group here. I got married last month. I was able to lose 5-10lbs after purchasing my dress. I have been on Weight Watchers since August 2011 and have lost 15lbs total. I need to lose another 10lbs. I don’t belong to a gym because I can’t afford it right now. For exercise I can go for walks and I also have a fitness DVD. I would like to lose these last 10lbs before summer but they are very stubborn.
I’m looking to join a group to get inspiration and for accountability.

I’m not sure what kind of group you are looking for but there is a thread that is started called The BEEgest Loser and it is a callenge that goes on for 4 weeks. Everyone reports how much they weigh each week and every week there is a winner for most % of body weight lost.

Congrats on your weight loss!! That is such a huge accomplishment!!
I just got back into exercising after taking a 6 month vacation after our wedding. 😉 I agree with PP… I love my fitness pal and the smartphone app is wonderful! Good luck!

I’ve lost about 25lbs, I do do a bootcamp class but I also started running I have run 2 1/2 marathons since March. The biggest expense in running is a good pair of shoes and socks!

I would absolutely recommend signing up for a 5k. It’s really not that hard and running burns sooo many calories. The fear of looking fooish at the race alone will motivate you!
