@ksus07:  I saw it somewhere and thought the same thing. I can’t for the life of me understand what the point of them is.

@ksus07:  Even worse, the last time I was a bridesmaid was along with my sister, when my mother remarried. (All adults; all mothers in fact). Sorry for writing that, but now I’ve got that awful image in my mind I thought I might as well share it 🙂

I have never heard of this and I can tell you now that my bridesmaids will not be doing a boudoir shoot as part of my wedding Tongue Out What is the point of the photos??

I’ve heard of doing a Boudoir Marathon with your girls, as in everyone gets their photos done on their own, however everyone is hanging out together (so in pictures seperately, but all drinking champagne and eating cupcakes together while 1 person is getting their photos done).

I think the marathon idea is awesome, getting them done together is weird.

But! To each their own.

I did a boudoir photoshoot for my FI for Vday and he LOVED it. The photos were classy rather than trashy. Not to mention, I looked awesome! And I don’t always feel that way being 160lbs and 5’1.

ETA: When photos are taken individually, each person would only get the photos of themselves, to give to their S/O or keep or whatever. Honestly, boudoir photography is quite freeing, and I would do it again in a heart beat. Not in the same picture as my 4 BM’s, but definetly alone, with my friends going before or after me (my sister went before me so we had our hair and make up done together at the photographers studio).

@ksus07:  I saw a hen night deal where you and all your bridesmaids could go have a boudoir shoot done together.

@Brittanyg20:  Ok the boudoir marathon where everyone takes turns getting their photos done does sound quite cool. But whilst I’m very much looking forward to doing my own boudoir shoot, like you, I wouldn’t want anyone else with me.

@chronicwhimsy:  That gif creeped me out.

@ksus07:  All of these ideas keep getting dumber and dumber. Why??? I honestly don’t get it. I barely get boudoir photos for the groom, but now this?

Just the other day I saw a news story cover DUDEOIR photos. As in the groom takes sexy photos taken and gives them to his bride.

Here’s a photo that came along with the story:

@petalpetal:  Bahahaha that picture is hilarious and made my night. I don’t even know what I would say to my FI if he gave me “dudeoir” pictures.

He gave me sexy photos of him sort of as a joke I burst out laughing when I opened the card. Maybe not what he wanted me to do!
