Whoa, thanks for the warm welcome! How exciting! Ok now I'm a bit nervous eek!
The story...
So I'm usually the planner in our relationship and if he was to plan something...I think I'd know he was up to something sneaky! But he was sneaky anyways! He just waited until I planned a day out to Carmel for us and TA-DA! I had NO IDEA and figured it was another day out for us no biggie...just having a good time and he whips out the box! My thought process was: 1) OMG it's happening. 2) OMFG I hate you, I planned this day. 3) OMG I'm going to cry but why!!?!
I did ask him what he would have done if I hadn't planned an outing for us. His answer: I would have just waited. WAITED?!?! Ugh.
It was sweet, funny & unexpected. *smiles*

And for those who don't know, there is an "announcements" board which I guess is kind of like a place to announce your engagement/wedding date/etc :)
