Congrats. I know how exciting this is for you! We got engaged in late January, closed on our home in April and moved in June to a new state (where the new home was located of course). So, there has been lots of transition and lots of planning. It gets overwhelming at times, but totally worth it. Enjoy your new home !

We bought a house before the wedding, too, even though we didn't want to live together until we were married. The plan was that he would move in and then I would join him, but we ended up doing work on the house and both ended up living with my parents until the wedding. On top of that, I was studying for the Bar.
A new house gets stressful but it is so much fun to imagine your future together in it. Enjoy the process and good luck!
Aww congratulations! :) You're a big kid now! haha some days I still don't feel like a "grown-up" (hence why I still use the word "grown-up" lol)
My big life changes before the wedding are: selling my condo, leaving my life & moving into my FI's home in the US!
Congrats!!! That is SO exciting! We'll be doing the same thing. We need to close on a house before April 30 and then we'll be married next winter, so house + wedding within a 12 month span. I feel like such a grown up... heh

Everytime I say that my FI corrects me and says "uhh it's adult" lol

Well, we are planning the wedding, I quit my job, started a new one and we BUILT the house...yea, I say I had enough on my plate. I LOVE the house though! Would not change the stress for anything! Hold on Girl! It will be over before you know it! :) Congratulations on the new house!!

We close on our new home in less than 3 weeks!! I will be moving in until the wedding and then he will join me. We are both very excited! It has been a little stressfull with wedding planning and house hunting/moving, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Anyone else also dealing with a big life decision on top of the wedding?
