I’m not sure what area of NJ you are looking to stay within, but I would definitely recommend The Atlantis Ballroom in Toms River (on Rt 37 before the bridge to Seaside Heights). I had my wedding booked with them and canceled at the last minute to elope due to family issues, but they were amazing and so helpful! And if you plan it right, you can get wonderful package deals for discounted prices!

Can’t say enough good things about Atlantis. They did my wedding in October.

You could look into The Madison Hotel in Morristown: http://www.madisonhotelweddings.com/weddings.html

We went to a wedding at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick and we had a great time! I remember loving the food.

Another one is Wilshire Grand hotel is in West Orange. The Manor is West orange has a hotel, but it is superrrr expensive for guests to stay there

I am getting married at The Tides Estate in North Haledon. Their ballroom is gorgeous! They don’t have a hotel though. The closest hotel is about 12 mins away and they do not have a shuttle on weekends. So we will be renting a shuttle to drive our guests back and forth from the hotel to venue.

nyebridemd:   We had our wedding at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, and many guests stayed at the Nassau Inn on Plamer Square in Princeton.  Both venues are great for weddings.   Jasna Polana has two houses on their property you can rent for guests.

Our flowers were from Viburnum in Princeton, they were beautiful and within budget, and our top vendor was our photographer  team from  http://www.kgmexpressions.com/  they exceeded our high expectations – photography was our top priority.

Happy planning!!

I can give you a bunch of places depending on what you’re looking for.  If you want outdoors as a possibility for cocktail hour, Trump National is beautiful, as is Natirar mansion/90 Acres. They’re where I live, in horse country. If you want centrally located, the Grand Summit hotel is quite nice. There’s many more, but I’d need to know what area you’re in.

My absolute favorite venue in NJ is the Venetian in Garfield.  It’s beautiful, and their cocktail hour is out of this world.  It is pricy though.  I heard Mayfair Farms is pretty decently priced in the winter months.  I have been to a wedding there in the winter time, and it was very nice.
