How many people are you looking for?

Natirar is gorgeous- that was going to be our venue- but they booked it the day we needed (long story- lost venue- fixed contracts with other vendors made the date then none negotiable)- but it was lovely- i thought it was great.

nyebridemd:  Check out Bernardsville Inn. We ultimately decided on another place but that seemed really nice and it’s a decently sized hotel.

We looked at Ryland Inn too, I think they’re the same corp. that owns Liberty House. I don’t know when your wedding is, but I remember the lady at Ryland saying they are in the process of constructing a hotel on the property to open sometime next year. Might not be til 2018 though.

Cross Keys Inn is another option. Also, if you go right across the river to Bucks County, Pa, there’s Barley Sheaf Inn.

You could also check out Mountain Lakes House in Princeton. Guests could stay at Nassau Inn after. Also, Marriot in Forrestal Village looks like they do nice weddings and the hotel itself is beautiful!

Bernards Inn is great, we had the rehearsal dinner there and the kids spent their wedding night in one of the suites. Natirar is so close to where we live so it was a great choice for my daughter’s wedding.

nyebridemd:  I got married at Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope pa. Which is right down the road from Hotel Du village. Check it out!

I looked at some places in NJ, i can’t seem to remember a lot of them right now though!

Jack’s Barn had really good word of mouth reviews- http://www.jacksbarn.com/

Wineries? Although the ones I called were expensive as hell.

Oh, i just remembered some i looked at, lol:

Perona Farms-http://www.peronafarms.com/

Crossed Key’s Inn- http://www.crossedkeys.com/

Barley Sheaf (in PA) – http://www.barleysheaf.com/

I also had a lot of trouble finding venues that I liked in NJ. I wanted a rustic feel. Have you considered the Philly area? I decided to book there, even though it was a bit of a drive for my FI and I (about 2 hours). Check out any of the venues Jeffrey Miller Catering works with. They’re gorgeous places, and the food is amazing! I just began planning the rest of my July wedding with them, and I am sooo excited!

I’m having mine at Versailles Ballroom in Toms River NJ. It’s owned by the same company that Atlantis Ballroom is. They’ve been great so far, they live for weddings so they make your life 10x easier
