I am sure you'll do fantastic. FMIL is also back on the floor after doing desk work for the past 5 years. She is still in the honeymoon phase but I think she'll be a lot happier there.
And I feel that from you. Gotta do what makes us happy, right? :D
@gvsusara: Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great. I just started a new job too- waitressing at a local restaurant, so not nearly as important, lol, but it's still stressful. New jobs are always a little frightening.

Week 5 of my new job starts tomorrow and I am beyond nervous. A little background....I am an RN and worked in a neurosurgical ICU for the past 5 years. Last May I left the bedside to do a couple of contract "desk" jobs related to nursing. I was sooooo bored and unhappy. Fast forward 6 months..............In February I was offered a job at another local hospital. However, this position is in the operating room of a pediatric hospital. I feel like a new grad all over again!! Tomorrow I start scrubbing in the urology service. Wish me luck!!! Hope the surgeon doesn't yell at me too much :) I've got another 8 months of orientation.............oh and the anxiety begins!!
