After continuing to grow out my hair for what seemed like eons, I decided to get my mid-back length hair chopped. I have fine, but very VERY dense wavy hair. However, not the wavy hair that you can scruntch up or those “beachy waves” that are sought after- it’s just obnoxious wavy…like in all the wrong places. Due to the length, lack of time and lack of skill-set, I have been pulling it back all the time recently. So, I decided to get it chopped. I LOVED my long hair, but figured that shorter, more nicely styled hair would be better looking than longer, unkempt hair.
Here it is!
In general, I like it. However, I think the stylist cut the shortest layers TOO short (like, nose length) so the top layer kind of mushrooms out…you can tell a LITTLE bit from this picture on the left side. When I get it trimmed in a couple months, I’ll make sure they let that layer grow out, but in the meantime, are there any products/styling tips to get that layer to lay flat? I’m pretty clueless!
