Okay, so here’s my SECOND shot at getting some nightstands to go with the headboard…and here they are! (excuse the picture quality, taken with my camera phone!)
I’m not sure if any of you remember the nightstands I had gotten ORIGINALLY from Target but here they are..
So I need opinions! What do yall think of the new nightstands?! I HOPE I did a good job this time in picking them out 🙂

Look GREAT!!! I like the 2nd ones a lot better! Where did you get your headboard??

Yay!! I’m so glad that I picked out a good pair this time 🙂
I got the headboard AND the nightstands from a place called Beau Tresor in Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. A woman here custom made the headboard and took the wood from one of the oldest beach houses here in PCB.

And incase anyone is wondering, THIS is how we started…we’ve come a long way, but still have a while to go!

I absolutely love the style and finish of your headboard, and the new nightstands you picked out are fabulous. My only one thought (and it’s a tiny little critique, I guess) is that the scale of the headboard seems a bit too tall for the bed it’s paired with. It stands out as a separate thing, and not one cohesive piece of furniture. Have you considered shortening the legs a bit to scale it down to your bed? If not, I still think it looks great, I just think that tiny change would put it over the top in style. Here’s my super quick photoshop mockup of what I mean. But seriously, absolutely adore that look!

The new nightstands are great! They coordinate a lot better with the style of your headboard.
@sand dollar: I think this is a great suggestion. If shortening the headboard legs isn’t an option, you could use those plastic bed lifts/ bed risers that raise up your bedframe. they’re only about $10 and raise your bed up 6 inches or so.

I like the white ones way better than the brown ones. And I LOVE your headboard!

@sand dollar: I LOVE that suggestion! But I would really really hate to cut the legs off of the existing headboard. That’s one of the things we admire about it, is that it’s so tall. However, I am considering simplifiedbride’s idea about lifting the bed. That is something I’ve been wanting to do but just haven’t yet.
Thank you all so much for the opinions 🙂 I’m so glad they go well together!!
