I think it would be super cute, if it were a dress (which I thought it was at first before I read your last paragraph). But that’s because I personally don’t like rompers… I think it’s very pretty and if you’re comfortable in it, I’d go for it.

I think its cute and since your not having a traditional wedding i don’t see anything wrong with it.

It looks very bridal even for a romper!  Cute!  Do you have the legs to pull this off?

Yay, NOLA!! My home! I think it looks adorable and more importantly, you’ll be comfortable, not just in your outfit, but in the heat as well. March is when it starts ramping up.

i dont personally like rompers but thats my body shape. it is the prettiest most unique, wedding looking romper i have every seen! very very very nice and wedding appropriate, i mean you couldnt have found something better for you taste, its perfect. it looks like a very fancy wedding dress, except its a romper. did you get it at a thrift store, it looks like someone took an actual wedding dress and altered it.

get married in the streets of new orleans then :), rent a nice little area around there, get some paper lanterns or white lights (like christmas lights) to hang you can find many ideas on google just google wedding light ideas. pretty boquets and there you go. make sure you girls if you have bridesmaid wear plain but colorful short dresses (nothing dressy but yet good for an outdoor casual wedding) so they dont outshine you. wear one of those bride veil hat you can once again google ideas) and i think it would be lovely! very very cheap YET lovely wedding. also have cookies as your cake if you want it simplier, some make big cookies and stack them like a cake and put flowers or decorations on it or have a pretty cake stand with 3 levels and put 3 diffrent types of cookies or just plain white iced cookies with pretty sugar pearls/praline pearls you can get at any kroger or walmart (if walmart look in the bakery section and the official cake are like wilton ask an employee it wont be in the grocery area)

@aubreykarissa:  I’d say that if you are eloping and not having a traditional wedding you should totally go for New Orleans and the lacey romper. Although I agree with PPs that the romper is not my style but probably because I don’t have the legs for it! LOL but I also think something in a similar style and material would look gorgreous as a dress! =) Good luck and happy planning!

@aubreykarissa:  Having just visited NOLA I am all systems go on a wedding look for a street elopement that will NOT be a long gown that would touch the street. 😉 Gorgeous beaded romper to the rescue! You will look divine!
